Easter 2012 in Dallas Texas

Here are the boys in the Easter egg hunt adventure in their underwear. That is really all they want to wear all of the time! We went down to Alisa's house in Dallas for Easter. Axel figured out really quickly that the yellow eggs had the chocolate!

Austin colored eggs with his cousins Braden and Jenna.

Austin was digging the Reester Bunny. A big Reese's peanut butter cup! The scab between his eyes is from wresting Axel at home and hitting the wall. I'm sure it is just the beginning of ouchies with how wild these two get in wrestling each other!

Our friend introduced us to cardboard sledding! Axel wanted to carry his own box like his big brother Austin. I only took videos and don't have a picture to post of Austin cruising down a steep grass hill on the box and inside a box taped up. It looks like they are skiing on the hill!

Life!

I actually applied a fun idea from Pinterest. A litttle bit of food coloring in some shaving cream and the kids got to paint in the bathtub. I put the different colors in a muffin pan to keep them seperate. Axel kept painting Austin's head. Austin was fascinated that it dissolved in the water. They had fun!

Tom and I had great birthdays this year! Tom bought me a massage for my birthday and my friend watched the boys. Then my other friend Stephanie watched the boys that night and we went to dinner and got pedicures together. One of my best birthdays! For Tom's birthday we went to eat at "Cock in the Walk"-only in the south would they name something like that right?! Cool place where the boys got to feed the catfish and turtles.

My friend Stephanie called a couple of weeks ago and offered her son's soccer spot to Austin since Adam wasn't enjoying it. Austin is LOVING it! He loves that they run slow like a turtle and fast like a rabbit. He likes to let out a loud scream while running around. He's pretty good at running backwards and kicking the ball in the goal. He loves to wear his "soccer shoes" around the house.

Austin has been pushing Axel in his swing. This is our backyard. Austin is seriously bummed out when Axel goes down for a nap. They play together so well and I'm feeling so blessed!

I love to go for long walks down by the Two Rivers Bridge. I let the boys get out and run on the way back and they enjoy finding a stick to walk with. This was so sweet when they were holding hands and walking. The walk takes forever when they are walking but I love seeing them explore on the sides of the path and getting exercise.

Catch up for last couple of months

Here is Axel carrying on the Krispy Kreme tradition that Grandpa Eliason started!

Our playgroup had a bike parade that was so fun! The kids put balloons and streamers on their bike or stroller and rode around in a circle following each other. Austin and a couple of the other boys were riding everyone's bikes when the other kids moved onto the playground. Austin looked like a valet guy test driving everyone's else's wheels. He decided he needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the party-literally. Everyone grew silent as Austin pulled down his pants in the middle of the crowd to go pee pee in the drain. At least he isn't having accidents! The joy of having boys!
